I wasn’t going to post a recipe for these guys because you could honestly do whatever you wanted with them! They were inspired by @jillhanner on instagram and they’ve been a hit both times making them! Chicken and turkey! These roll-ups are a fun, easy way to spice up your protein meats that could be growing “boring” on you!
Boneless and skinless chicken or turkey breasts, cut into strips
My seasoning mix today consisted of:
Nutritional yeast (this and the ground flax were my base of the mix, use more of these!)
-Preheat oven to 350•F
-Mix your chosen spices and herbs together with ground flax and nutritional yeast
-Coat your meat strips with your seasoning: you do not need egg or egg whites to help sticking
-Layer spinach leaves, tomato, and goat cheese at one end of your coated strip and roll upwards. Secure your roll in place with a toothpick. Stick it all the way through to make sure it holds through the baking process
-Place on a cookie sheets on parchment paper and bake for ~25 mins (depends how thick your rolls are)!
Mannnny different variations you could do on this! For my turkey rolls I made awhile ago I used rice bread crumbs and spices, and stuffed with sundried tomato and onion along with spinach and goat cheese! Tasty everytime!!! I highly recommend trying these suckers out! First pic is the chicken roll-ups (recipe seasoning) and second is my turkey roll-ups with rice bread crumbs!
