Watermelon Slurpee or Sorbet

Another summer treat! My city is the slurpee capital of Canada! Needless to say, I’ve had my fair share of those sugar in frozen form beverages! Here is a 100% clean and sugar free slurpee! The difference here in the slurpee or sorbet is how much you pulse it in the food processor. Pulse your watermelon just a little-you’ve got yourself a sorbet, but pulse it more-maybe add water, and you’ve got yourself a slurpee!

Ingredients:

Frozen watermelon chunks
Water (optional-for slurpee)
Mint leaves (optional. Yes I love mint!)

Directions:

-Just as in making the mango sorbet, let your watermelon thaw for 5-10 minutes before processing.
-Pulse your frozen watermelon a little bit with mint leaves if you wish for a sorbet. Pulse it a bit more for a slurpee! Add water if needed to reach your desired consistency!
